Chapter 8
Through the family’s influence (Good & Bad),
Alex had grown up to be a young, handsome and promising Ship Captain.
He needs to go onboard to sail on the sea once in a while.
A trip could easily take him away for a few months.
Athina has always been worried about Alex’s safety, diet and behavior when he’s away.
Even though Kent has mentioned that they should have faith in their son,
Athina and the rest of the family members think otherwise.
A month ago, Alex waved goodbye and went on a star cruise holiday.
It seems like he enjoyed himself so much and forget to contact the family.
Back at home, due to recession and disapproval from external sources,
Hafiz had to close down his entertainment business.
He has placed his focus on his daily Burger business and was recently awarded
the title of “Scholar Burger” and published in newspaper.
Messaging Sage was getting harder as his business grew.
Moreover, she had gone for a holiday trip on cruise too.
It was hurtful but to face the fact that the feelings had faded.
It goes the same for Swee hao’s love for Selene.
Both of them realized that it was loneliness that brought them together
and that they are not what each other is looking for.
Selene no longer wants to take bus as she prefers MRT now.
She met up a new sexy guy, Thava on the MRT and Swee hao felt happy for them.
Swee hao continued his bus journey and
finally noticed a girl who always takes the same bus as him…
Things have been chaotic at home.
Everyone seems to have their own affairs going on.
Even the housekeepers have been busy with the mess at home.
Athina was rather glad that none of those things
were happening to her family.
However, things happening around seem to prove her wrong.
Kent has been out recently, returning home at wee hours.
Although he was with ZK and Hafiz most of the time,
Athina could not help but worry.
While ZK was busying pacifying his two wives,
Hafiz was busy messaging.
He could smile to his phone whole day, feeling the sweetness within.
It was Sage, a beautiful young lady he came across with during an expedition.
He took care of her and footed her medical bills when she fell sick. Upon recovery, they got to know each other more through Hafiz’s daily concern and flowers begun to blossom.
Of course, he was not the only one who was immersing in love.
Through the same expedition,
Kent made friend with a youthful girl who is full of energy.
Priscilla and Kent could entertain each other well
and talk about anything under the sun.
Nothing ever did happen as Kent had never thought of betraying Athina.
He controlled and allowed this small relationship come to a quiet end
since after which, Priscilla had to leave for another vacation too.
Kent was not Athina’s only worry.
Other than playing with meow meow everyday.
Alex has also been busy with some stuffs too……..
